ABSTRACT: This research investigated the benefits of outdoor learning environments on early childhood behavior. The objectives were to: (1) assess the impact of outdoor activities on social behavior, (2) evaluate the influence of nature-based learning on emotional regulation, and (3) determine the effectiveness of outdoor environments in reducing behavioral issues. A survey design was employed to gather data from educators and parents about their observations of children's behavior in outdoor learning settings. A sample size of 140 preschool educators and parents was selected using purposive sampling. The case study focused on early childhood education centers in Ogun State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that outdoor learning environments significantly improved social behavior, enhanced emotional regulation, and reduced behavioral issues among young children. Nature-based learning activities were found to promote positive interactions and reduce stress levels. It was recommended that early childhood education programs include regular outdoor activities and that educators receive training in implementing effective outdoor learning strategies to enhance children's behavioral outcomes.
